Oh, it's no biggie. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed reading your latest journal entry, despite the fact I no longer believe that God even exists. That doesn't mean I gave up on my Christian values of love, compassion, and most importantly forgiveness.
You know, if more Christians focused on the message of love and forgiveness instead of Hell and eternal damnation, the world would be a much better place to live in .
I agree. I believe we all need to focus on love. I always get caught up with all the arguments and angry stuff, and I get caught between a certain two sisters all the time, even though i care about them both.
I hope one day you find God again, and if you ever need to talk about anything let me know.
Word of advice: Don't personally get involved in any argument between sisters; the best thing you could do in this situation would be to just pray for them and hope they can work things out. I'm personally hoping the one sister will realize that her persecution complex has grown completely out of proportion and that she needs to stop taking it out on the other sister when she tries to point this out.
Who knows? I may yet find God again before my life is over. We'll see how that goes.
I know I shouldn't. But I care about them, and it's hard not to say something. but I guess praying for them is still best after all.
It's just whenever Id o try to talk to the other sister and RH they have both been so vicious acting, all because I try talk to them. I don't think my words were offending...but they seem to think so.I I don't guess i'll contact them again, unless they need something. But I'll still pray for them.
Xiao and I have been talking and I told her she needs to stop dwelling on sin, and start preaching love. I told her this as a friend.
She and I both disagree with stuff like abortion, but we need to be careful not to run people away before they hear the real reason God came to Earth as a human, I believe that's a folly many Christians make. I love her dearly as my friend, and I was afraid when i approached her with this, but she was very understanding. She really is a sweet girl, everything's just been blown out of proportion, and she and I have been party to rudeness and anger. Forgive me if i've ever said anything terribly rude...i probably didn't mean it that way.
I'm very happy that you are still open to the possibility that you may return to God.
